November 2019

Friends and family,

I need your help. In the last few months, I've lost a big chunk of monthly donor support. That happens from time to time in missions. Most of those supporters just fell on hard times and needed to make a change in their budgets, while others decided to stop following Jesus and no longer wished to give to a Christian cause. In either case, I ask that you'd join me in praying for them - that God would move powerfully to meet both their physical and spiritual needs.

As for me, I'm now at a deficit of nearly $1,000 per month for the year. That's about $12,000 total. There are a few ways that you can help:

1. Let me know if you know anyone who might be interested in joining my team!
I've asked everyone I know if they'd be interested in supporting campus missions, and my list has run dry. If you can think of anyone who might be encouraged by what God's doing through campus ministry, please let me know! I would be very happy to call or get time with them and let them know what all God's up to.

2. If you're already giving, please consider increasing your support!
I know first hand how generous you all are. So, this is by no means intended to communicate that I think you're all cheap skates. In actuality I think I have some of the most generous people in the world on my team! All that to say, if by some off chance you've found yourself in a position to be able to give more and have been looking for a place to do that, know that I have a need and would greatly appreciate your consideration.

3. If you're not already giving, please consider starting!
If you're one of my prayer team supporters who hasn't been able to give, please know that you are just as valuable to me as anyone else. Your prayers and support have been so encouraging and helpful to me along the way. If for whatever reason you are now able to give, I'd gratefully help you set that up.

4. Consider donating to FOCUS for Christmas on my behalf!
I know that many of you are already giving at max-capacity right now. I love that about you. If you've got a spare $100 and would be willing to donate that as a one-time gift, that could really add up. In fact, if every one of you (financial and prayer supporters alike) gave $100 this Christmas, I'd raise nearly $7,000 for the year. That wouldn't get me to my goal but it would DEFINITELY help a LOT.

To start giving or to send a one-time gift, visit https://anyfocus.churchcenter.com/giving and select my name from the drop down option.

Thank you for all you've already given and done for me. Please know how truly grateful I am for you. Keep me in your prayers! God's a big God. I know he'll provide.

With love,
Kristen Paz

As promised, here's our staff team dressed up as characters from Shrek. Drew gave his sermon dressed as Pinocchio!

And this is Emily T. She's one of our student leaders who devotes nearly 15 hours each week volunteering her time to serve her peers. She's been looking for a job the past semester and could use your prayers! Here she is at Chick-Fil-A after getting 3 free things of breakfast.
